VALKYRIE S/T AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD

Our first record is now available at all Itunes stores internationally, as well as Emusic.com, Lala.com, and Rhapsody.com

VALKYRIE-MAN OF TWO VISIONS

Valkyrie- Man of Two Visions is not yet readily available via the web, but it is now available to Virginians at the following PLAN 9 locations: Harrisonburg, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Richmond,Lynchburg, and Williamsburg. Eventually it will be available at all the usual online distros and via your local record store. A release date for the vinyl will be announced soon. We will keep you updated.

PETE HAS JOINED BARONESS

Pete has joined up with BARONESS on guitar.See them on tour this fall with OPETH and HIGH ON FIRE. Pete will have some copies of MAN OF TWO VISIONS with him on the road.



2/10/08:

NEW RECORD UPDATE

We are getting closer to completion of our second album. It is recorded, but we are still working on the mix. Look out for the CD to be released on our own label, NOBLE ORIGIN, and the LP to be released via KREATION records sometimes in the next few months.

S/T VINYL REISSUED

For this pressing the vinyl is brown and tan. They are available here at KREATION RECORDS.

11/7/07:

RECORDING

We will be recording in November and December of 2007 for our 2nd album, tentatively titled: MAN OF TWO VISIONS. No release date has been set, but definite plans for a vinyl and cd release are in the works.Our live shows will be sporadic until recording of the new record is complete.

S/T VINYL AVAILABLE

KREATION RECORDS, of Seattle, Washington has released a 12" vinyl edition of our self titled album. It is limited to 500 copies, so not many are left. They appear in black, and green/gold swirly vinyl. They are available here at KREATION RECORDS.

UPCOMING 7"

HEAVY BIRTH RECORDS, of the Netherlands, is releasing a split 7" with our friends BIBLE OF THE DEVIL. The 7" will feature our new song, FALSE DREAMS. It is scheduled for release in early 2008.

NEW DRUMMER

Warren Hawkins, from Greene County, Va has replaced Gary Isom on drums. Warren joined us in July. He was featured on the FALSE DREAMS recording that can be found at our myspace. Gary is currently playing with Unorthodox, and The Hounds of Joe Hasselvander, among other projects.

THANKS!

Thanks for the good times at the recent DOOM OR BE DOOMED festival in Baltimore. It was great seeing old friends and meeting some new ones as well. We were proud to be part of such an esteemed and HEAVY gathering. Thanks for all the positive feedback!

NEW WEBSITE

We are glad to have finally published our new website. More content will be added as time goes by. Thanks to Michael Miksa for his flash expertise and coding help and thanks to Brandon Berg for the crucial oak leaf design.

KREATION RECORDS is releasing a 12" vinyl edition of our self titled album. It will be limited to 500 copies, and will be released sometime in the near future. More info will be posted as soon as we get it.

VALKYRIE SPRING TOURS/FESTIVAL APPEARANCES

Valkyrie is scheduled to perform May 25 on day two of the 9th annual EMISSIONS FROM THE MONOLITH festival in Austin, Texas. We will be touring on the way down and back. Full dates will be posted soon. We will also be playing the 2nd annual ALEHORN OF POWER festival in Chicago, Illinois on June 16. We are working on a few shows on the way up to Chicago from Virginia which will be announced shortly as well.
